Trail System Lunch & Learn
The April monthly Mellon Veteran’s Lunch and Learn on Friday the 24th will publicly update efforts of the Mellon Heritage Foundation and 4 N.I.N.E.’ s 2024 partnership to develop a public park and trail system on the former Mercyhurst North East campus which straddles North East township and borough. 4 N.I.N.E. commissioned a study to provide strategic guidance for development of the park, with the goal of establishing an accessible trail system that integrates environmental, cultural and inclusive elements. This has been a truly remarkable effort.
On Friday, 24 April, lunch begins at 11:30 AM and the presentation at noon. It will be open to the public and located in the Ridge Complex, 2142 Freeport Road, North East, PA 16428, at the entrance to the campus. Questions regarding this event may be directed to 814-347-5270.
